Bowen Treatments

How Bowen Treatments Work

A Bowen session lasts between 35 and 40 minutes. The patient remains fully dressed in comfortable clothes. Using thumbs and fingers, the practitioner performs a series of gentle "moves" along the spine and the affected part of the body. The muscles, nerves and fascia are engaged. Blood flow affecting the body's neuro-muscular physiology is increased enabling the body to regain its strength and stature. Usually 1 to 3 treatments are needed. In some chronic cases a longer series of treatments is indicated. The treatment is deeply relaxing as well as therapeutic.
